In my head, I was wronged. In my head, I was the one who was hurt and betrayed. Anger consumed me, and the tears made me too blind to see that it hurt you as well. But who was I to blame? You never stood by the promises. I wanted you to fight for me. I wanted you to stand by my side through the struggles I faced. But you turned your back on me, so what else was I supposed to think? I am so deeply sorry for hurting you. I’ll apologize to you everyday if that’s what you need. But right now, I don’t want explanations, or answers, or any words said. I asked you to stay. I wanted to fly across the world. With you. Hold you in my arms. Love you with everything I have. But you…. left. And this might be news to you but it took two people to be in a relationship. You made me fight all by myself. For what? For you to come back and ask for a second chance? Well, you can come back to old times if you want to. But I’m afraid I won’t be there.
